After getting some new shoes and getting Anna's nails trimmed we stopped by the Marble Slab to use our 2 for 1 coupons...wouldn't want them to go to waste.

Logan got cotton candy with marshmallows and a sprinkle waffle cone.

Dylan got double chocolate with chocolate chips in a sprinkle waffle cone.

Chloe got raspberry with gummy bears in a white chocolate waffle cone.

We are all ready for Easter...well at least the kids think we are.

March 29, 2010

Chloe and Anna's morning routine...at the treat drawer.

March 28, 2010

I love catching moments like these...they were all watching a show on Logan's computer together tonight. I also love spring break for sleepovers and sleep ins. The kids all had a sleepover in Logi's room.

March 27, 2010

We went and picked up the bin truck so I could do some spring cleaning. I swear the faster I clean and get rid of stuff the faster the kids make more mess. Chloe was sitting in her closet guarding her stuff so I couldn't go through it.

Hudson and I delivered the cake pops to Dylan's Spring Party this morning.

Really it wasn't me suggesting we fill him up with chocolate...it was Mrs. Russell.

And then we picked up a purple Easter bunny from her Easter Party at preschool.

Easter cake pops for EVERYONE!!!

Still building lego from Christmas.

March 23, 2009

We have been practicing printing our name and when we are done we plaster the sheets all over the wall and make everyone look at them.

March 22, 2010

Today was Dylan's last ice time of the season...they had a big ol game of shinny with everyone. Greg was the goalie for one team and Logi was the goalie for the other team.

All was good until Greg got called off the ice by the head of Bow Valley for not following proper protocol with insurance and because some people were wearing bike helmets...he had to go for a special meeting after the game.

March 21, 2010

Today was Logan's last hockey game of the season...of course he wanted to play net.

Then we had the team year end party.

They all got sticks instead of trophies and then they all signed each others.

The big REVEAL is finally here. I went for a shampoo and blow dry this morning and then was at the BMO Centre at 2 for make-up. It all went by really fast. We were supposed to go on stage at 4 but go bumped forward to 3:30. We were each on stage for less than 5 minutes so that was good. I went into this letting the "team" do what they wanted...I can't say that I will be keeping the look as I think I look like a big dork but it was a interesting experience and I am glad I did it. Now I will look forward to 2 years of a pony tail until my hair grows back.

Me and my buddy from High School...Leisa...she works with the Beauty MD stuff at EC.

Sometime this week Logan lost one of his top teeth...not sure where it went. All four of them are loose and the one is barely hanging on. Looks like he may end with no front teeth pretty soon.

March 18, 2010

Another 1hr bath for the little ones.

March 17, 2010

Happy St. Patrick's Day!!! Chloe's preschool class celebrated by wearing green and bringing a green snack to share...Chloe took green finger jello.

March 16, 2010

Tonight I had my cut and colour for the big makeover on Saturday. Who was I kidding to think I was going to get to keep my hair....of course they wanted to cut it. Ultimately they let me make the final decision....the hair dresser was great and I like they way he did it...I am just unsure about how it will look once I try to do it.

Happy 9th Birthday Logan!!! It is hard to believe that he is 9 already. He is really a good kid, he is so caring and considerate of others, is a good student, a good hockey player, has really good friends, enjoys reading (favourite books are Geronimo Stilton, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Kendra Kandlestar), enjoys playing video games, writing stories, playing street hockey, watching movies, playing with his star wars collection, sending friends and family emails and playing his new guitar (which we are still debating about lessons) His favourite foods are pork chops, rice and mushrooms sauce, tacos, hamburger helper, burgers, roast beef and potatoes, mashed potatoes (which he still calls smashed potatoes) and cereal. He has developed a real sweet tooth over the last year and catch him sneaking candy and cookies out of the cupboard frequently. I made him his favourite cupcakes...cherry chip with vanilla icing.

I finished my donation to the Crop for Kids today. It is a great event and all of the money raised goes to The Alberta Children's Hospital Foundation. The event is sold out but if you wanted to make a donation or do some scrappy shopping (Live-Dream-Create kits will be available to purchase through Inspired Designs) please stop by. They will be selling raffle tickets for all of the scrapbooking projects donated by Canadian scrapbookers...including mine:) The event will be from 10-10 on Saturday March 20 at the Holy Nativity Church on Bonaventure Drive SE.

I did my first 5K run this morning. Jody had emailed me 2 weeks ago saying she had signed up for the St.Paddy's Day Run and asked if I wanted to join her. One of the items on my bucket list is to do a marathon of some type so I signed up. Unfortunately my first night out for a run to see how far I could actually go I hurt my knees...a week later out for a run...knee is still really sore and I can barely walk after....today...knee is feeling okay for the first 2.5K...the last 2.5k was a killer...I was in some pain. But I did it and ran the whole way and finished in 33 minutes...I was hoping to finish under 30 but maybe next time when my knee is better. Now I just hope it heals with some rest and I don't need to go to the doctor. I am fine if I walk sideways and don't go up or down stairs. GRRRR!

March 12, 2010

I'll call that a successful birthday sleepover...boys are still sleeping and it's 8:00am...oh wait the boys were up till 2...guess it's a good thing they are still sleeping. Good times! We had a fantastic breakfast of pancakes, whipped cream and strawberries to finish off the party.

After Dylan's hockey game this afternoon the whole team went out to Pizza Hut. Greg gave the boys their year end trophies and the coaches got a little something from the players.

March 11, 2010

We celebrated Logan's 9th birthday tonight with a sleepover with a few of his closest friends. It was the first friend sleepover for all of them. They were all so excited...at a few points during the night Greg and I looked at each other like "what were we thinking?!?" We played swords, had pizza, ice cream cake, watched 3.5 movies, played games, ate gummies, popcorn, pop, and this morning we had pancakes, strawberries and whipped cream. The boys stayed up until 2 telling ghost stories and laughing. Logan said it was his best birthday party ever...mission accomplished!

We played a game that I remember playing at one of my birthday parties. I put clues inside the balloons and they had to pop the balloon (which wasn't easy) and then read the clue and find where their surprise was hiding. Their surprise was a rubics cube game and some fart in a jar. (which they had so many laughs over)
