Greg volunteered (well actually I volunteered him) to go to the Science Centre with Chloe's preschool class today. She was so excited to go with Daddy. They had a great time together...and he even took photos for me.
We finally go to use our $250 gift certificate to dinner at the Kensington Inn tonight. It was a great night...we sat right be the fire place and were treated like royalty. The food was really fancy and we had wine parings for each course. My favourite was the wine served with our white chocolate creme brulee we had for dessert.
Chloe got a paint your own tea set for Christmas from G & G. She really enjoyed painting it today....she used every colour...except for pink because she HATES pink.
Ahhh....stinkin cold...I have been getting sicker by the hour. I did not feel like cooking at all tonight so we ordered in. There is a great Vietnamese restaurant by our house called Saigon Royal that the whole family loves.
Awh...isn't she cute?!?! This wasn't supposed to be my photo for today. Dylan's hockey team had a big shaker tonight and while I did remember my camera I forgot the memory card...grrr....it was a great party and fun was had by all.
Dylan has started to learn to write words in Kindergarten...unfortunately it has meant a lot of homework this week. Good thing he doesn't mind and usually asks to do his homework.
Just finished building Dylan's lego set he got for Xmas...lets see how longs it lasts for. I don't know if any of Logan's sets we built are still standing.
I can't stop laughing at Dylan's school work from today. They were supposed to pick two things that they are really good at and draw them in the boxes. Dylan's first thing is stabbing pencils into oranges. Really!!! Stabbing pencils into oranges...I am pretty sure he has never done this at home so I am not really sure where he got this from..too funny!!! He thought it was very funny and clever.
Last February Chloe won a My Little Pony prize pack from Teletoon. Something happened and it has taken them until today to get it to us. I actually was going to hide it and give it to her for her birthday but I didn't hide it on time and she brought it to me wondering who it was for...so being the tough mom that I am I let her have it.
The kids were super excited to get these awesome NY shirts from Tamara and Michael. Greg and I were also excited to get our treats from NY. Those two sure know how to spoil us!!!
Since getting his NYFD shirt Logan has been searching the web on fire fighters and has made us a fire escape plan for the family...it is also what he wants to be when he grows up.
Ahhh...we are all exhausted. Logi's team couldn't get a win this weekend but they had fun weekend of hockey, mini sticks in the hotel hallways, pizza party, water sliding and bonding.
I love moments like these. Logan got some new books from Santa and has been reading non-stop since Xmas day...he has even been reading to his little brother.
