We have a busy day today. Dylan's class is going on a field trip to Butterfield Acres, Logan's class has a Fall Party and Chloe's class has a Halloween Party. Today was the first day Chloe did not cry when I dropped her off...maybe she will have to wear her costume to school everyday.

I made cake pops for everyone...Logan took them to his Fall Party, Chloe took them to her Halloween Party and Dylan will take them to his hockey team mates tomorrow morning at hockey practice...as it didn't really work to send them on the field trip today.

Ever year the Swifty's gas station by our house hosts a pumpkin decoration contest. They donate the pumpkins and then judge them....every child not only gets a loot bag but a prize. This year we really let the kids do their own pumpkins. I love how they turned out. We will drop them off to get judged tomorrow after school.

Logan got his "prize" for selling 3 magazine subscriptions for his school fundraiser. He talked all week about hopefully getting to pick the alligator. He was pretty excited to show me his pick after school. Dylan also sold 3 subscriptions but picked his prize last week...a puppy.

We got Greg the Magic Bullet for his birthday and since then the kids have requested shakes for snacks time every night. I couldn't stop laughing at Dilly doing his homework and drinking his shake...he not only has it all over his mouth but it is on his forehead.

I finally got out for a few fall pictures. I have been doing fall photos with the kids in the exact same spot every year since Chloe was born. I was worried I missed them this year with the early snow fall. So I am SO happy to have got these.

I finally talked the princess into ponies...she will not let me do anything to her hair these days....drives me crazy as I think it is so stinkin cute. Oh well at least they managed to stay in for a picture.

The whole family is addicted to Cafe World on Facebook. We should have a good day at the Cafe as the boys don't have school today. They especially love going to check out Grandpa's Cafe to laugh at his rotten food.

The boys had parent teacher interviews after school today. Ahhh...I am a very proud parent. Dylan's teacher said he is a model student...she said that one day he was the only one with his folder open and waiting in his desk like the teacher had told all of them to do. She said that when other kids are acting up he will look at them and shake his head and continue to sit in his desk. She said he is well liked and had made numerous friends. Logan's teacher said he is a joy to have in her class, he has lots of friends, tries hard, listens, is eager to learn, no problems...the only thing we have to work on is his neatness...his work is very messy...I had to laugh because both Greg and I were the same...did very good in school but rushed to get it done. I seriously had tears in my eyes during both interviews. I meant to take photos of the boys with each of their teachers but my day didn't go as planned. Traffic was bad and baby happy fun's dad couldn't pick him up on time and right when I was trying to get him packed up Logan had a major dirty in the bathroom and was having wiping issues...clogged the toilet...Chloe walked into our bedroom (we still don't have a main bathroom...so the bathroom in our bedroom is the one we all use) sat on our bed and because of the stench ....threw up all over everything. Needless to say we were a little rushed getting to interviews and I forgot to bring my camera. After interviews Logan came with me to get new boots and some groceries...he has been such a good helper lately...I told him he always has to come to get groceries with me now. I still didn't have my camera...but I did have my phone....it will have to do for today.

Seriously. It took us over 1 hour to get to school this morning. Stupid snow...the worst part is I haven't taken my annual fall photos yet. The kids of course loved it!

Hockey evals....really it is the thing I hate most about hockey. Logan had his first hockey evaluation tonight.

Happy Thanksgiving!!! We had our Thanksgiving dinner tonight...just the 5 of us. Before dinner we all said what we were thankful for...good health, food, family, friends, a house, clothes, toys, money. It was a great dinner...but why did I eat so much?

Dylan had his birthday party at the movie theater today. I did try to book it for his actual birthday but because the movie we wanted to see has been so popular this was the earliest weekend we could book it. We saw Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs.....the kids all really seemed to enjoy it. They kids were all really good....Dylan had a few kids from his Kindergarten class and a few kids from his hockey team at his party.
