Logan's 1st day of grade 3...he has been asking when it was time to go back for a few weeks now. He has such a great group of buddies...and they are all in his class again this year. I found out this morning that Aunica is in his class too...they used to babysit for us before Chloe was born.

Better late then never...it has been so hot here these days...we have been waiting all summer for this. The kids took advantage of the nice day before they head back to school this week.

Chloe coloured before we headed out for our busy day (this kid LOVES to colour)...finally got the trailer back to it's spot, went and checked out the new mall (I didn't know it had a Bath and Bodywork's...what a nice surprise) and went out for supper.

The girls phoned to see if Chloe wanted to go to the park with them...I didn't have to ask her twice.

Our first full day with baby happy fun...

Today we celebrated my Grandma's 80th Birthday! It was such a great day...the whole family was there....all the children, grand children and great grand children as well as other friends and family.

By total coincidence Dawson and Logan are in hockey camp together all this week...Logan is really enjoying it.

Chloe really enjoyed baby happy fun today...her and Dylan were fighting over who got to play with him. He is in awe of the kids and gets excited when they are around.

The boys were dying to go swimming...unfortunately Logan got bit in the nose by a yellow jacket right after their swim.
We tried a few different trails before we finally found one where there were no signs saying Private Property/No Trespassing/Keep Out. This one took us down to the other part of the lake.

We stayed at Mariners Haven...it is about 10 minutes from the border. After breakfast we headed down to Kookanoosis lake. Then we took an hour drive to do some shopping. I love shopping in the US...we went to Costco, Target, Bath and Bodyworks and a few other places to pick up some groceries, drinks for Greg and I and some back to school stuff.
I lost count of how many times we turned around on the highway to make sure everyone got to see the wildlife.

Enjoying Spiderman pasta...only in the States do they have such cool food items...I wish I would have bought more as it was a huge hit.
