An afternoon at the Glenmore water park.

We went hiking in Kananaskis today. We took the Galatea Greek hike to Lillian Lake...we didn't make it all the way to the lake but we did hike for 2 hrs...which is pretty good for the kiddies. Then we went to the Firewood Grill in the Kananaskis Resort for supper...lets just say Greg and I should have ordered off the kids menu.

Schools out for summer! Whew...finally...I am so ready for the lazy days of summer. We are so proud of Logan he got all A's and 1B on his report card. He was super excited to be done school today...and to find out all of his buddies will be in the same class as him for grade 3.

I spent almost the whole day cutting grass and pulling weeds...the little ones ran through the sprinklers.

I finished burning the DVD's and got the memory book finished for Logi's teacher. The memory book is a made out of paper bags and in each opening there is a tab that coordinates with each child's picture and pulls out and the kids have drawn and/or written what they have learned from their grade 2 teacher. Logan is so excited to take it all to school today.

Happy Father's Day!!! For Father's Day Logan made a tie with reasons he loved dad on the back, Dylan made a little people key holder and Chloe made a card.

Chloe did so good at her dance recital today...I thought for a brief second she might run after the little girl that went crying off the stage...but she didn't. She says she is a dancing star now!

Lake day for Dylan's preschool year end. I helped make paper bag albums for the teachers...I think they both loved them.

Logan had a great soccer season...he scored plenty of goals and is a real team player...we are so proud of him.

I can't believe my day is only half way done...so I got outside to see what the little ones are doing and there are two baby birds on the grass. Hmmmm...they tell me they just flew out of the nest. The mamma bird is freaking out on the fence...chirping like crazy. Finally Chloe says I'm not going to tell you our secret and Dylan looks at Chloe in disgust and says Chloe why did you say that. Dylan finally tells me...we really wanted to see what they whole body of the birds looked like so we threw water on them in the nest. Grrrr...so last time I checked they have moved and are under the nest on the ground. I'm not sure what to do with the little guys...but I have two very sad and sorry kids who have had some very interesting ideas on how to get them back in the nest.

Dylan has his Jr.K graduation this morning. The kids were all so cute. Dylan has had the same girlfriend all year...Kaitlyn...so cute...we didn't even prompt them to hold hands.

When we got home I had an email to phone Got2B marketing...I am one of their top 10 finalists in their got2b win a trip to NYC contest. My photo will go up on the website August 3 and voting will go until September 7...the grand prize is a trip for 4 to New York. I was also told that göt2b will be showcasing the Top 10 in a 2-page contest ad in the September issues of Glow, Flare and LOULOU magazines as well as the September 14 issue of Hello! magazine... So exciting! So watch for "vote for me" spam in August. lol!!!
