On our way to becoming fit...Wii style! I must admit I am a little addicted to this game. It has been hard for everyone to take turns. It is so funny cause as we are doing our races we pass and run with Grandma and Grandpa. Dylan finds is especially funny when people trip and fall on their heads.
Is this a sign that spring is FINALLY coming??? I hear there is snow in the forecast but I refuse to believe it!!!
Final day of the tournament...our first game was at 8:45 so Greg and Logan went to the game while me and the little ones slept and cleaned up the room for check out. Had a quick snack and then the boys did some more swimming and sliding. We then went out for lunch to the Olive Garden. Our final game was at 4ish...the boys played really good...unfortunately they only won one game out of four. Logan had some really good chances to score and we are so proud of the way he played this weekend.
Day 2 of the hockey tournament...I am so tired!!!! Greg took Logan down to Smitty's for a team breakfast at 9, then we headed to West Ed Mall where the boys played glow golf with the hockey team and Chloe and I went to the Under Water Caverns to look at sharks, stingrays, penguins, frogs, and other underwater creatures. We had a quick bite to eat and then went to the next game...those stinkin girls again...the boys beat those girls good. Revenge is sweet! Back the hotel for more swimming and the year end hockey party....and yet some more run ins with the security.
We left bright and early this morning for Edmonton for Logan's hockey tournament. We played our first game at 1, had a late lunch, checked into the hotel, did some swimming and water sliding and then went back to the room for some pizza and then a little sticks hallway hockey...until the grumpy guests went and got security.
Today we went to the Library to get a few new books and Dora movies. We then went and picked up the 3rd movie in the Harry Potter series for our movie night tonight. I really tried to talk Logan into a haircut but he insists he likes it the way it is....grrrr!!!!!!!
Tonight was Logan's last hockey practice for the year. They have a big tournament in Edmonton this weekend and then our hockey year will be finished.
Logan went to Let's Play with a friend from school. I dropped him off at 11:30am and Makenna's mom is going to drive him back home at 7:30pm. Dylan, Chloe and I made a stop at Dollarama on our way home...they each picked out a toy that will provide about 1hr of enjoyment until it breaks. I also picked up some paints and paper...now this was a good pick.
The boys playing games together and actually sharing, taking turns and getting along.
Happy 6th Birthday Sophie! Sophie's actual birthday is March 6 but because Reave, Sophie and Kael were visiting this week they celebrated with all of Sophie's Calgary friends at a swimming party at Cardel place today.
Laurie, Stacy and Christy came over for a night of scrappin. Before they arrived Logan made everyone a note that said "hi have a great time at the Propp house". Although we didn't get lots of scrappin done we had lots of laughs and great conversation.
A little taste of Mexico. The kids each picked out a cactus to take care of and remind us of Mexico.
Dylan had green day at preschool this morning...there were little green feet all over the main entrance and the preschool room was very messy when we arrived. Looks like little Leprechauns had caused some trouble and made a mess of the preschool overnight. I got to bring a messy little Leprechaun of my own home with me.
