Whew...we had such a big day I think I will have to get creative and find a way to use more than one picture for today. After the girls left we headed over the Chuckie Cheese for Malcolm's 8th Birthday party.

M & C came over for the day...they all play so awesome together. The kids made Valentine's cards and embossed for the first time....then we walked over to the park and went sledding.

I am working on a DVD scrapbook for Logan's grade 2 class for year end and I usually go in to take photos on special occasions. It was twin day today but when I went to take photos I noticed that not everyone had a twin so instead of a twin day photo it will be a music class photo.
And I couldn't resist this one of Chloe Jade eating her favorite cheese and toast while playing her DS.

January 22, 2009

The Xbox was at the repair shop for a few days so the boys were super happy to get it back tonight. Dylan wore his PJs all day today...he said it was pajama day...no problem with me I love pajama day.

These buns will probably be gone by the end of the day...they are definitely a family staple in this house. It's a good thing they are so easy to make...

Ultimate Bun Recipe
from the kitchen of Mom Pellerin

1 1/2 cup warm water
2 2/3 tablespoons margarine
5 table spoons sugar
1 teaspoon salt
1 egg
4 1/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons yeast

Mix water, margarine, sugar, salt and egg together before adding flour and yeast. Use 2 hr format in the bread maker. Roll into 12 balls and place on greased cookie sheet. Rise for 1hr in warm oven. Take buns out and heat oven to 375, bake buns for about 12 minutes.

On the drive home from school Logan asked if he could have scissors and some paper to make aliens with when we got home...this is what he came up with.

Anna comes running when she hears or sees that little green bag.

January 14, 2009

Update...someone doesn't like the other picture very much so if he is really nice to me I may print this one for the album instead...

Logan came home from school with a website that they had been playing with during school...he had to show his brother and sister what it was all about...www.buildyourwildself.com

side note: Logan is not really sad, he just likes to drive me crazy when I try to take nice pictures of everyone. I keep telling him years from now he will look back at these pictures and wonder why he did that all the time...grrrr!

January 13, 2009

A day doesn't go by that this little boy isn't playing with his cars. Oh and he has developed an absolute LOVE for gum and he will chew the same piece for hours.

Split lip...so the poor girl has barely been able to talk since she bumped her lip on Dylan's knee this afternoon. After is stopped bleeding she came running to me all upset and said now there is water coming out of my mouth. I had to tell her she could close her mouth...she was drooling all over the place.

January 4, 2009

On December 27 right after everyone cleared out of Grandma and Grandpa's house Chloe accidentally dropped her glass of pop and a piece of glass bounced up and cut her leg. So off to minor emergency we went...3 blue stitches later she was good as new. Today she got her stitches out...the nurse gave them to her wrapped up in a paper towel to bring home and show everyone.

January 3, 2009

We received a wonderful Xmas gift from my Aunt Danella and Uncle Dale...freezer meals which included meat pies, perogies, cabbage roles, loaves of bread, chicken gumbo soup, beef barley soup and tarts. Ahhhh it has been so nice. We drove home from Stoon Sunday and we haven't had to cook a meal since. Logan loved the meat pies and keeps asking when we can buy more. So we decided to fill the freezer up again...tonight we made lasagna to freeze. Tomorrow we are hoping to make meat pies and chicken spaghetti. Greg and I make a great team...he does most of the cooking and I clean up after him.

January 2, 2009

Putting Christmas away...today we took down the Christmas tree, took down our lights and put away all of our Christmas decorations. Whew! It's a lot of work but definitely worth it. Now you three are all relaxing watching Fairly Odd Parents (Timmy). Chloe is in her usual upside down watch TV position.

January 1, 2009

We took the kids tobogganing to a hill by our house...the weather was perfect and we all had lots of fun (minus Dylan sliding head first into a railing). Then we came home and had hot chocolate with jumbo marshmallows and watched Horton Hears a Who.

Happy New Year!!!

We celebrated by eating way too many treats, drinking pop and watching the movie Good Boy.
